IF you are currently living outside and are reading this message, we know you need something. With just your email address you can hook up with hope and build a circle of support and find solutions and encouragement. Need help? Want to know what to do? Where to go for something? or just want some encouragement and feedback when times are hard? Advice how to stay safe?
IF you don't have one already, your local librarian will help you set up an email address so you can connect to several people like yourself who have been there, done that, and are willing to share and help you right now!
(Life stories and wish lists are also welcome.)
Joining Outdoor Citizen Alliance will allow you to quickly find a host of resources such as how to qualify for programs and which programs are right for you, special meetings, free meals, clothing, where to replace ID's, assistance with food stamps or sanctions and great tricks for your getting work and insuring your safety and other matters that will help you survive.
IF you live in Pinellas County, click on the link and enroll --- you will be able to talk to everyone in the group at once, or one at a time...the OCAP newsgroup system and its site is a simple online medium to assist you to break through barriers to housing and employment and guide you to solutions.
